Harvest Activities at Santa Cruz Wineries
September is California Wine Month
The rugged mountainous hillsides of the Santa Cruz winery appellation
conceal some very unique, and celebrated, wineries. Because
of their aerie location, visitor traffic tends to be light, and
while there are a couple of big-name standouts, most of the wineries
are boutique mom-and-pop operations.
While you can just grab a map, give your self a timeframe and
set off on an adventure of your own making. There are a couple
of suggested tours that might help you make the most of your
time and travels. September is California Wine Month and many
wineries are participating in group events, or are offering special
activities on their own. Here is a combined list of last September
and October events celebrating harvest and California Wine Month.
